Remember us in your Will

When writing a will, most people ensure that their loved ones will be looked after as their number one priority. Having done this, people often like to leave a legacy of some kind to their favourite charity.

In 2010 nine of our thirteen projects benefitted from legacy donations. To see just some of the ways in which legacies helped our work in 2010, you can read our Remembering the children of Colombia feature from our Spring 2011 Newsletter.

If you would like to leave a legacy to Children of the Andes you will need to write a Will, or update an existing one. You will need to notify whoever is managing your Will. We also recommend that you read our Guide to Leaving a Legacy.

You do not need to contact us to tell us that you have included us in your Will. However if you do want to let us know, or if you have any questions, then please call Hannah on 0207 549 0230.

Children of the Andes believes that every child has the right to a home, family, happy childhood and safety. Leaving a legacy to Children of the Andes will help us help this happen in Colombia. Thank you for considering this option,

"Before I joined the Carvajal program, I was locked into my problems, very unhappy and thought I could not do anything. But since joining the programme, everything has changed. I have learnt that I can do things in my life. One day I will work and do a job. I now realise that just because I have a limitation (a disability), it does not mean that I am limited"
